CBIT Venture Builder has led the first ever Nottingham Business School Hackathon

The CBIT Venture Builder has organised the first ever Nottingham Business School Hackathon in collaboration with Actatek.

The Hackathon has brought up a real life challenge the provided by Actatek. The CEO Thomas Wan present the challenge to navigating new opportunities for the company to expand into new market or provide a new product based on the company’s capabilities.

Students came from various background such as Marketing, Sales, and Supply chains have grouped and work together to solve the challenge and provide viable solution for Actatek.

Nottingham Business School (NBS) and CBIT Venture Builder joined hands with Actatek to organise the first-ever NBS Hackathon, a platform where students could engage with a real-world business challenge.

Thomas Wan, the CEO of Actatek, presented the challenge to the students: to identify and navigate new market opportunities for the company, or develop a new product by leveraging the company’s existing capabilities. This was a golden opportunity for students from various fields such as Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, who grouped together to propose viable solutions to this pressing problem.

Students stretched their academic knowledge, applying their skills to tackle the complex business challenge presented by Actatek.
