Introduction
CBIT Venture Builder continues to expand the 2025 cohort with the addition of Pathedits (A.K.A. Path).
Path is a leading bulk image editing company that’s all about precision, speed, and affordability. Unlike AI-powered services, Path differentiates themselves through skilled retouchers who handle every image, ensuring flawless results and customer satisfaction.
CBIT quickly recognised that Path is much more than just a business pursuit, they are also exceptionally committed to giving back to their community through ethical outsourcing and philanthropy. Since their inception, Path has created two charitable foundations that have spurred over 1,000 jobs and donated more than £1 million to support education and healthcare in Bangladesh. At its core, what makes Path stand out is not only their dedication to delivering top-quality products and services but also their commitment to be a force for good.
Who is Path?
Founded in 2008 as a family business, Path has since grown into a leading image editing service with over 10 million images edited and 11,000+ reviews, of which 7,000+ are five-star ratings. Their services cater to professional photographers and eCommerce brands, offering everything from hand-drawn clipping paths, background removal, image masking, ghost mannequin effects, and photo retouching to vector conversions.

Unlike AI-powered alternatives, every image is meticulously edited by a professional retoucher and audited by a separate quality assurance team, ensuring unmatched attention to detail and tailoring even the most complex edits to the client’s specific requests. In return, customers receive pixel-perfect results in as little as six hours. Path also provides their clients with 24/7 chat support with a member of their customer care team. Most notably, Path has made its services accessible to everyone with cost-effective pricing starting at just under £1 per image, while also offering Path Credits and custom enterprise plans for additional discounts.
Beyond Business: Path's Social Impact
Path is a company that reaches beyond their work and customer service. Path believes in ethical outsourcing and community development. Differentiating themselves from typical outsourcing companies, Path was founded ‘to empower people everywhere to do work they love, so they can create thriving businesses, lives, and communities.
As a company they are an active participant in the UN Global Compact, consistently ensuring that their work exerts sustainability and social consciousness. They have done so by creating over to 1,000 jobs, as well as assisting in the development of in-demand professional skills for their hometown in Bangladesh. All of which provide immense support to the families who would have needed to go to urban centres.
In addition to all the support they provide, Path also insists on donating 5% of every dollar they make to their community, having donated over $1,000,000 to community organisations and projects in Gaibandha, supporting healthcare, education, homelessness, disaster relief, and other important causes
The Sarah Institute
The Sarah Institute was founded in 2015 as a training center to educates students and community members to become professional graphic designers and retouchers. The name for the Institute, and the idea behind the institute is a tribute to Atiqur’s grandmother Sarah who was a persistent and great believer in education. Since its founding, the training center has trained, educated, and helped more than 400 students.
Anisa Foundation
In 2024, Path founded the Anisa Foundation. The Anisa Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to education, healthcare, and community support in Gaibandha, Bangladesh. By providing scholarships, vocational training, and access to quality education, the foundation empowers individuals to build a brighter future. Their healthcare initiatives ensure that underserved communities receive essential medical support, including free check-ups and financial aid for critical treatments.
Beyond education and healthcare, Anisa Foundation drives community development projects, from infrastructure improvements to emergency relief efforts, helping families become self-sufficient. Rooted in compassion and sustainability, the foundation continues to create lasting impact, transforming lives and strengthening communities.
Meet the Founder

Atiqur Rahman Molla’s, CEO
Atiqur grew up in Gaibandha, a village in Bangladesh, seeing poverty and suffering in his community and he wanted to help – even as a kid he wanted to make a difference. Path is that difference.
Fueled with the passion to make a difference and help his community. After moving to London and attending the University of Greenwich, Atiqur took his skills as a graphic designer and created Pathedits. What started as a small family-run design business in 2008 has grown into an online image editing studio with customers around the world — and has helped create nearly 1000 jobs in Gaibandha.
“We still think of ourselves as a family business – just a much bigger family than when we started.”
Path and CBIT
When Path joined the latest CBIT Venture Builder cohort, they were facing a critical turning point. With declining revenue and client losses, they knew they needed a fresh approach but weren’t sure where to start.
A chance meeting at an industry event led to a collaboration with the CBIT team, sparking a deep dive into data analysis, competitor strategies, and business model optimisation. It quickly became clear that Path’s biggest challenge wasn’t their service quality—it was their positioning. Their one-size-fits-all approach meant they hadn’t clearly identified their ideal customers, making it harder to effectively market and tailor their services.
With the expertise and strategic guidance of CBIT—especially key figures like Georgie Iliev, Connor Morrison, and Jay Bal—Path has now shifted its focus towards defining its ideal customer persona by understanding who benefits most from its services, identifying new customer segments to expand into previously untapped markets, and optimising internal processes to improve efficiency and better serve enterprise clients.
Looking ahead, Path and CBIT are committed to refining their business model, ensuring that every strategic move aligns with long-term success. By prioritising customer insights, targeted growth strategies, and process innovation, Path is now on a clear path towards sustainable scalability and stronger market positioning.
